Today's Beer Saturday post is Highlighting the seasonal can collection for Budweiser. A lager labeled The King of Beers.
I needed some BEER and I only had a couple options at the store. It was the holidays so I thought I'd get the gimmicky can connection from the king.
Can 1 of 4
The clydesdales have been Budweiser's icon for a long time. The early 80s and 90s commercials featuring them were iconic.
Remember, the cans are different; the beer is the same.
I bought an eighteen pack so I was thinking that all four cans might be included. They weren't.
Can 2 of 4
As I was getting to the end of the 18 pack I kept noticing the same two cans in the case. There are two can designs that I did not get and one of them has a green can that looks pretty cool.
I just don't know how invested I am in seeing if I can get all four designs. We'll see.
Anyway, I checked out the Budweiser website and found a couple cool things.
They are selling NFTs of some of their can designs
Looks like they currently accept Bitcoin and Ethereum and credit cards to purchase the NFTs.
Pet on a Can
This was my favorite find. It was a pretty easy upload and edit tool. I was glad that Hershey let me take this picture to put on the can. When we first got him about 10 years ago he would bark incessantly if we tried to take his picture.
I hope you all have a great weekend.
Cheers and drink a BEER for me.
