#BeerSaturday - 6 Craft Breweries in a Single Day!

zh4.jpg

To celebrate this #beersaturday, I bring you the dramatic conclusion to "6 craft breweries in a single day!"

I have come to find, being The Blockchain Beerologist definitely has its perks, including but not limited to getting paid to tour breweries and sample new beers! When I am not globetrotting or brewing my own beer, my fridge looks like a colorful mosaic of regional craft beer I enjoy sharing with the #beersaturday alliance of #beer bloggers on #hive.

Can I weather a cross-county journey to 6 different breweries and full pints at each?

The Pint of the Week is a popular feature as I can share a social pint, which is probably the best way to enjoy a beer. Once again his week, the whole post is filled with pints of the week! This one was from the next stop on our craft beer journey. It is a beautiful lighter session IPA at a brewery I had never visited before I might just get into next!

Black Donnelly's

If you are looking for the first half of this harrowing tale, you can find it right here but we are picking this journey up after visits to Shakespeare Brewing, MadMash Brewing, and Broken Rail Brewing. You can see the beautiful blue sky that covered our day as we pulled up to Black Donnelly's. I have had beers from this place that is known for its malty beers and sorted history. Not the history of the beer or the brewery but the a family and history they drew inspiration from.
Pretty wild stuff you can read about here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Donnellys or check out some video on here:

When we drag 24 beer enthusiasts through here on November 30th, as this is just the dry run, we should get a a tour of the spacious brewing area and some more brewing details.

As for the pint, it might have been the 6th for the day so far so I opted for the Vigilante IPA which was more of a session ale but plenty tasty. https://www.black-donnellys.com/our-beer/ will give you a little more information about the beer but I am getting godaddy errors right now. So many breweries opt for cheap and mailed in digital presences which is a mistake when you consider all of the ingredients are the same and the only thing that is different is the marketing!

Black Swan Brewing

Next, we headed back to our town for a stop at Black Swan Brewing Long time followers of the Blockchain Beerologist will recognize this one as I have reviewed it many times, it is partially responsible for my IPA obsession, and it is located right across the street from @town-crier / https://www.towncriermarketing.ca which is our digital marketing company. Gotta admit we don't spend too much time here lately since we always have a couple kegs of our own beer on tap right across the street. Still, it was great to get back and include it on our November tour.

It was pints on the patio again as it was such a beautiful day and it is nice to see the community walk by on the sidewalks on this main street. You can see the difference in the beer tastes of our scouting crew here. From left to right, we have the Porter, and English Pale Ale, and my selection, which was a New England IPA that was actually a collaboration with the next local brewery we visited. I was half snapped at this point but they were lively and delicious pints!

Jobsite Brewing

IMG_3530.JPG

The last stop on this trial run and the location for our Nov 30th Beer Exchange event was Jobsite Brewing Another regular stop on my #beersaturday blog as I have a long history with this place. Having built the computer network before it opened right up until now where we maintain them as a client and love their beer. The warm sun was going down and our wives were meeting us there for our grand finale.

Inside, we were scoping out the event room in the back among the brewers, fermenters and bright tanks. Among these picnic tables, we will be bringing maybe 50 or 60 beer enthusiasts to exchange beers and cap off a big day. There were actually a good amount of people here as they were having another event where a local BBQ company rolled their smokers up to the back door and were offering some fantastic BBQ selections.

As for the beer, I only remember from the picture that I opted for my old favourite Impact IPA Do you know how tough it is drinking IPAs in a session while everyone else is enjoying lighter ales and lagers? The end of the tale is a little hazy for me and I have to share that the next day certainly was a slow one. Imagine how I might do when we have a couple dozen carousers on the tour for the real event!

Who wants to visit 6 breweries in a day with me?

Sort:

That one hiding in the background of the last photo.. yeah the blurry one ... that ones mine

Ah yah. That was a cream ale. You would love the Golden Ale we have on tap now too.

Did u drink the same beer at every places you visited?

No a different one each place, though mostly IPA style or a session ale. so many different ones to choose from.

How does bare health harm?

I think a little is good and this much is definitely not good. So only occasionally have a session like this.
