With all the video covering this, a Rod of God (orbital kinetic energy penetrator) would be visible in the footage and would create a sonic boom at it plunged down through the atmosphere from orbit.
Most likely Hezbollah was converting some of that ammonium nitrate stash to explosives of rocket fuel and then the fireworks fire set the whole thing off.
According to the business insider report, the kinetic rod would be going 500 MPH upon impact. That is slower than sonic boom speed.
Well that's not much kinetic energy so it won't cause much damage if its going that slow.
