It seems like there would be enough to pay everyone back at least a substantial portion if not all of what they’re owed - but it would pretty much wipe out the accounts. It certainly looks like the choice has been made to not pay out anything and just run. If that’s the case all I can say is, “What a bastard.”He’s not even trying to hide that it wasn’t sold anymore... just cutting & running. You can see in the wallets both @zeartul and @bellyrub are withdrawing to the same Poloniex address.
My guess is @bellyrub was basically operating like a Ponzi, possibly intentionally or just due to mismanagement and miscalculation. A couple days ago @zeartul proposed fundraising to “expand” @bellyrub which did not go over well with the community. The “expansion” was needed just to keep @bellyrub solvent and when it failed the end was near.
