Love is a choice to put someone else's needs before your own. To be dedicated to that person no matter what. It's part of the love that one normally has towards their own children as well as the type of love one should have towards their spouse. It is not based on hormones, but on principle. It's this love that takes you through thick and thin - and stands the test of time.
