This was a fun and simple shoot for a client who wanted some images to start her modelling portfolio.
We traveled to a location near the coast in Dublin that @condra had shown me and thankfully the weather was on our side.
I just used a single light setup here and balanced with the ambient light. The only additional thing was that I used high speed sync to let me go past the D810's native shutter speed. This just let me dial down the ambient exposure more to create more of a moody scene and more focus on the model.

Thanks folks!
beautiful light dude!
Thanking you kindly. HSS works a treat for setups like this.
I need to get a flash and trigger that supports HSS, atm i have to mess around with NDs to stop down and it just adds more things into the mix
ND's can still get the same result but can be a bit messy alright. Depending on how much ambient light you have they can make it a pain to focus too. HSS is the way to go for sure.
