The prebooking for the JioPhone has begun in August this year, but after receiving a huge amount of response, the company decided to suspend the orders until a later date. The next batch of Jio Phone pre-orders have not started yet and there is no information from the company on the expected date. Reliance Jio Phone is a feature mobile with 4G VoLTE capabilities. Additionally, the phone is effectively free of cost as buyers only have to pay a refundable amount of Rs 1,500 for a period of 3 months. Citing a channel partner of Reliance Jio, a PTI report said that the telecom company will deliver 6 million devices which have already been pre-booked. The report added that the deliveries will be done in just 15 days. The delivery of Jio Phones will be initially done in rural and semi-urban areas. Meanwhile, cities and big towns will receive the Jio mobile on a later date. If you want to own a Jio Phone, you will have to pay Rs 1500 that will be refundable after three years. Those who have pre-ordered the device, have already paid Rs 500 as a fee and will have to pay the remaining Rs 1000 once the phone is delivered. The Jio mobile can be ordered from www.jio.com, MyJio mobile app, and even via offline channels like Jio retailers. However, you cannot pre-book as of now, as the registrations are closed. However, you can register your interest on the website.
Reliance Jio Phone tracking: Know where are you Jio mobile: If you have managed to already book the Jio Phone, you can track the booking order using the company's MyJio app. The MyJio app is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. But, there is a catch. You need to have a Jio SIM card in order to enter the mobile app and only then can you track your delivery order.
