I just love how our mothers instantly see your new BFF and hears the church bells, sees your father in his suit he hasn't worn in 30 years, mum is also smiling as she sees you in her fugly 80s styled wedding dress you're almost sure your oldest sister was conceived in.... "how do i get her back to reality without letting John know what she was planning, i mean thinking... "hey Mum John loved your soup you sent over, maybe write down the recipe for him".
Can't a guy be your best friend without people, ESPECIALLY PARENTS, thinking that number 1, your getting married in this HUGE over the top ceremony with your DOG as maid of honor and your poor friend dressed in an overly frilly coral number. number 2, think that he is literally the man of your dreams and every time you see him your heart skips a beat, but most importantly you cant imagine you being alive without him. OR Number 3 he is gay. Yes gay guys do tend to make great BBFs but that doesn't mean every BFF is gay. He could just be that super cool guy you met in MATH while doing a group assignment, he is going on a date with becky and im happy to wingman it for him because that's what BFFs do.
I have the most AMAZING guy friends, that listen to me and understand what I'm saying, that truly care about my answer when they ask, how I'm doing? i also know im not alone.¾
