How do you decide a stream is good or not?
A stream is good when the streamer interacts with the audience. This can be done by:
- playing with the audience
- reading and responding to the chat
- having a facecam that shows the feelings of the streamer
- having fun while streaming
Also, it is always good to play popular games or doing funny things.
What do you think about DLive and how can DLive improve?
DLive is a huge opportunity for all streamers, but there is some room for improvement:
- The frontpage is not that modern and often shows videos instead of livestreams -> no easy way to differentiate between them and a huge disappointment when you want to watch a stream, but a 15 Seconds video gets opened.
- The Chat is just showing a feed of the comments of the Steemit Post -> Chatting uses bandwidth
-> A chat outside of Steemit would be better in my opinion.
Briefly explain to us why you started streaming on DLive
I started streaming on DLive because I already was on Twitch and think, that DLive is the better alternative:
- You can earn money easier than on twitch
- It is very easy to get started, once you have your Steemit account
What are you streaming
I am a video game streamer. I stream games like CS:GO, Hearthstone, Move or die, League of Legends...
Highlights from the stream are beeing uploaded afterwards :)
How are you planning to improve your stream in the future?
I recently started using another streaming software (OBS Studio) and am going to migrate my Scenes from OBS Classic to OBS Studio, in order to show the chat and the games with a nice border. Also I want to interact way more with the audience, for example by playing games with them. Jackbox Party Pack and Move or die are planned!
