Liverpool have played some destructive attacking football during the knockout phases this year, dismantling hotly-tipped Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. Liverpool's star player this year Salah has been borderline unstoppable of late, scoring in both legs of the Reds' win over City, while notching a memorable four goals against Watford in March. As for the guests they made their way through the quarter-finals also memorable trashing FC Barcelona 3-0 at home after losing the first leg 4-1 at Camp Nou.
Roma shouldn’t be underestimated though. The visitors came back from a three goal deficit against Barcelona to make it to this stage in the competition, and since then they have drawn away to Lazio and beaten Genoa and SPAL in Serie A. Most impressive is the fact that they managed to put three past Barcelona without reply, although it’s worth noting that they shipped four against them at the Camp Nou.
there is a very high possibility of a draw
