Did anyone ever try the Orbitz drinks or am I the only one?
Orbitz came out in 1997 and ended a year later because not enough consumers went for the lava lamp resembling drink.It was a non carbonated fruit flavored beverage that had editable gel balls floating in them. They were made by the The Clearly Food & Beverage Company of Canada. I was 7 years old and I remember every time my sister and I went into a store we would get one of these. I would get a different flavor every time.
the odd flavors were
raspberry citrus
blueberry melon strawberry
pineapple banana cherry coconut
vanilla orange
black current berry
I remember these drinks! That's so long ago. I had 1 and did not enjoy it but i thought it looked really cool.
No I don't remember them. Then again I didn't drink much out of a bottle. I think I was juicing in those days.
Wow, I vaguely remember these from my childhood. Literally the 90s embodied into a beverage! Thanks for sharing your story, it's nice to be reminded of my youth.
