I didn't need to, because even after @smackdown.kitty slapped Dan's upvote down to zero, it still was at the top, which was my point. Also, if they claim to employ him as a consultant, and they don't pay him, then he should be flagging the post and stating why. This is called Fraud, attributing some person's input without compensating them for it.
Dan may have duly revised the comment after my comment was written, but that does not oblige me to revise my comment, since it was no less relevant, even if it refers to prior edits (or up/down votes) on the post.
