I believe that this is the fork that steemi-t poses. This can either make the product or ruin it. It's natural for man kind to combine forces. Rather it's fair or not- would not be an ethical question because cryptos such as steem it are in their infancy. The only thing I will say is that users that create such voting services should not have unfair leverage over overall steem users. Equal footing and opportunity should apply. Especially to steemers that would like to add meaningful content on here everyday.

well, that's the good thing - and it's exactly what's been happening. anyone can offer their own service, and each has tried to do it using their own unique twist and "spin" on it. rather fascinating, actually, watching the "free market" play out before our eyes! bring on the innovation, and let's see where it can take us! :)
