I am still to understand all that whale situation to the detail. I understood they are the ones making the big money in here. but that is so vast. Really need to take a day to research and understand it better!

they're just people like you and me @sergiomendes. the difference is that some generally started on STEEMIT and/or invested in STEEMIT very early on, and are now in positions to exert a rather measurable "influence" over post payouts, the direction of the platform, etc.
Ok I see. Well I guess that happen in all the different kind of platforms. They always end up having their elite. If how they got their is fair or not is not up to us to decide in my opinion. The best we can do if we want to change something about it is to work hard to get there with them and make our part when it comes to the community.
very well put. there will always be some degree of disparity. The real question is if STEEMIT has become a new "Land of Opportunity", sadly now a foreign concept for most countries around the world.
