I shared it on my facebook

Thank you very much, djohan. That is very kind of you. I hope you and others get a lot of benefit from it.

I will follow you too Terry :)

Thank you! Let's follow each other!

yeah terry lets follow each other

Cool. I'm following you now, redje! All the best!

i have followed you

cool, thank you...that helps me too

Great interview and excellent advice from @stellabelle. It's especially good advice for newbies. I did a test on one of my other accounts to see how difficult it would be to get votes when nobody knows me. Let me tell you, it is tough. You can't come onto Steemit and expect good payouts right away - you need to have that genuine interaction with people. THAT is what will build your following. Building your following is what will get you high payouts.

Resteemed. Keep up the good work Terry. Hope to see you again at the next Steemfest.

Thank you VERY much for your comment, shenanigator. You're absolutely right. I thougth it was just a matter of producing "really ,really, really (notice the emphasis?) good content.

Nope!

It is a matter of connecting with real people in a genuinely helpful and kind way. Thank you for your resteem and your kind words.

I don't know if I'll make it over to Lisbon, but I'm looking at the possibility. Thank you for mentioning it. Would be good to see you again.

All the best!
Terry

yes, the paradigms that rule the mainstream world don't always work out here.....for regular people. However, the one thing I didn't mention is that certain unique people really do stand out, and they are like Steemit celebs: @sweetsssj, @heiditravels, @jerrybanfield and other youtubers who i am sure will be coming here. They can literally do whatever they want and be upvoted.......they have strong personalities, and are unique....
I try to give advice for the regular person who is not "over the top". The easiest way for regular people to get some traction is to make friends with others, and become part of a group of some kind. It all depends on what kind of person you are. No one method will work for everyone.

Thank you for sharing that. Yes, I love the content that @sweetsssj, @heiditravels, and @jerrybanfield produce. Really great content and delivered in a practical and professional way.

I love your expression!

Wow!!!!!!! I am AUTHENTICALLY INTRIGUED & FASCINATED!!! yes that is all capital letters because I am off the charts inspired!!! Thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love everything about this interview and both of you are so cool!!! As a newbie here, THIS is exactly what us new little minnows need to hear to help us figure this place out. I Need you both in my world :)

You are most kind izabellablue! Thank you for your kind words. Glad to help out and hope you stay in touch. Please follow me (do that by clicking on my name (terrybrock on Steemit) and then click follow. That way we can stay in touch as I create more content. I do a lot of video interviews with really smart people like stellabelle (she is wonderful!).

Hope you have a great day & I look forward to hearing from you again.

Thank you. Followed you immediately after watching the video :)

That is most kind of you! Thanx! Hope you have a good evening (if it is evening coming wherever you are!)

wow, what a cool response! You will do well here with that enthusiasm! Welcome

Thanks!!!
I am having alot more fun over here, than Facecrack :)

@stellabelle is the woman lol! She's a shining example of how to #win as a content creator - independent of corporate institutions and by doing what she loves to do! :) :) I can't say enough good things about this cool lady - she's the brains behind #womenofdash too, have you heard of them??

Strange, yet not so strange that on such a tech-driven platform the simple wisdom of helping others, being yourself and providing value are the keys that make the MOST difference!

I've seen Stella's Trezor video for DASH (I thought she looked familiar) and I've done several posts favoring DASH, and one post explaining creative ways to store a Trezor seed.

While I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of this, I'm glad for you and Stella providing genuine value and helping me.

Thank you, steveitt for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the post and yes, it is so true that genuine caring for others and listening to them is what matters most. I often speak about Relationship Marketing in my work as a professional speaker. We should use the technology to help people get what they need and want.

Like you, I enjoy Dash. I've done some interviews with Dash people like Amanda B. Johnson and Tao of Satoshi. You might enjoy seeing them:

I really appreciate you stopping by. Hope you have a great day!

Terry

ah, cool, i am glad you found my dash Trezor video.
Well, if you think about it, technology needs to serve the needs of humans, not the other way around.
The more automation we have in our world, the more we can be humans and be creative. That's my plan...

@stellabelle and @terrrybrock i think this is excellent! It's nice to put a live action face to the names too..

Making friends i think was the best advice given here....go into the chatrooms, authentically interact and don't be greedy..its easy to spot. This is a great interview guys, thanks!

Thank you, rondonson! I really appreciate you saying that. You are right about going into the chatrooms, authentically interacting and being a ... Well... Human being! (What a concept!) Thank you very much for your kindness.

@terrybrock yeah man lol....its not a hard thing to do. I'm glad i found this community most people here are the real deal!

Peace and bliss.

Steemit is indeed a life changing platform and @stellabelle is among the living witnesd with it. I'm a Filipino and we all know that Philippines has a problem with the economy. Lots of us are having problem getting the things we need to survive everyday. Yes, we are working but our salaries is not just enough for a single filipino family.

When I join steemit lots of things change. Although the changes is not as big compared to other people in the community, but it helps.

I am very thankful for steemit.

Thank you, juvyjabian. Yes, we've heard about that in the Philippines. We admire the great customer service that we see from so many Filipinos. Thank oyu very much for being here and stopping by. I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

I appreciate you having to reply my message. Yes, its true that Filipino has a good heart and very hospitable. But like any other races in the world, we also have those who were raised in the wrong way :) You might heard of it in news.

Yes, I've heard about some of it. I guess you have human beings there where some are good and some not so good. :-) Great to hear from you, juvyjabian and I look forward to staying in touch. Thankyou for your feedback.

Yeah right, in all corners of the world, we have this kind of people :)

Big respect from me ,my friend 🙂

Thank you! Much appreciated!

Looking forward to seeing more gems from you or the ones you find.
.
Enjoy your skull vodka :-)

Thank you @flipstar ! And yes the skull vodka (Crystal Head vodka, made in Newfoundland in Canada) is wonderful! Enjoy!

I orderd one just for the bottle:-)

was worth it

Yea, that bottle is a keeper. Dan Akroyd is a big investing in Crystal Head Vodka. He has a cool video introducing it. I'm thinking he might have had one or even two glasses of that vodka somewhere along the way! :-)

its really great dear

awesome interview @stellabelle and @terrybrock!

Thank you, anialexander. Nice of you to visit. I'm upvoting your comment

Upvoted and followed..it s really helpful to new users like me...hope more people get to read it. Thank you very much for sharing!

Thank you, emilymichelle. I appreciate your upvoce and follow. I have also followed you now and look forward to seeing your content. All the best to you!

Thank you @terrybrock , wish you a happy steeming day!

Thanks for the video! I have a question for @stellabelle: I joined a year ago and got a lot of advice from your posts (thank you!) but I'm still a newbie and trying to become more involved. Do you still use coinbase for converting steem? I've heard a lot of negative things about it and am wondering with your experience, what is the current best system to use? **Editing because I saw your post on medium via the fb group. I think that answers this question. I know you're busy so no need to reply here! Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I can't speak for @stellabelle but I use coinbase in a limited way. I have an account with a few dollars in it. I mainly use it to transfer quickly from one place to another. I wouldn't leave a lot of coins there for more than a few hours if at all possible.

Just my thought and I would value your input.

Thank you for this wonderful information buddy!

Shared on my Facebook :)

Thank you for sharing it on your Facebook. You are most kind. I've also just followed you and look forward to staying in touch.

Great post Terry, I like your point of view. You have a good voice for video and think you are on your way to being an influencer on steemit.

Thanks so much for the advice. I will of course put it into practice as a new steemit user. You got my upvote.

Thank you for the upvote. Much appreciated.

Good information deserves good returned. You earned it.

Thank you, masoncerritos!

awesome help for new steemers ^^ ty DASH Friend

Glad you like it. And yes, DASH is way cool also!

ty great to hear that, the DASH community with stellabelle is always trying to be the sound democratic alternative to fiat money :-)

The DASH community, lead by Tao of Satoshi, is a fabulous group. We see a lot of the same kind of helping spirit there as here in Steemit. I think smart people are realizing more and more that we all do better with cooperation and peaceful living. A very voluntaryist type of lifestyle!

oh yeah absolutely, haven´t seen or felt such a strong community like in DASH ever before in my life. The strange thing is, maybe i will not meet anyone of them in my life in real.

I hear you, simontheravager. That is something I often talk about in my seminars and in my online videos. We have to make it a point to strategically attend key physical IRL (in real life) meetings.

I love using video and social media to connect with people. It is very efficient and you can start, build and maintain relationships that way. However, nothing takes the place of being with someone in the real world. Conventions and seminars are great places to do that. You get together with a group of people who share common interests and beliefs.

Nice having you here. I look forward to connecting more in the future. Who knows? You and I might meet somewhere, sometime at one of those seminars or conferences! :-)

Thanks for the insight! I'm just learning this steemit stuff.

We are all learning this steemit stuff. I love the process of getting to know it more and more. Thanx for stopping by!

Enjoyed the nice interview of Stellebelle!

Thank you, contentguy. Glad you enjoyed it.

great interview with @stellabelle!! Thank you @terrybrock

I've re-steemed for my "noobie" followers :-) The key to success on steemit: Make friends! Upvote and comment!

That is very kind of you, gardenlady. Thank you for doing that. And yes, that is the key --- kinda like in life, being kind and helping others! What a concept! :-) Thanx for stopping by!

Hi Terry, i am Terry! What app did you use in this video call to have to equal screens?

Hi Terry (surpassinggoogle). I used a combination of tools. Zoom, Camtasia for Mac along with some other tools. Hope it looked good for you.

Lol ur a good host bro; good energy, funny, upbeat. Keep it up!

Thank you, tdeezi! Nice to have you stop by for a visit!

Wonderful post! What a great idea to interview Stellabelle. It was really nice to here about her backstory and how she got onto the Steemit platform. I really love her suggestion about commenting and getting to know bloggers that resonate with your interests. Thank you so much for putting together this post.

Thank you, suzique. You are most kind to say that. Yes, she was great and had a lot of great suggestions and ideas. If you have some other people that you would recommend I interview, please let me know. I do a lot of that and look forward to talking with even more wonderful people.

Let's follow each other. I look forward to reading your content.

This was a great interview. Educational and encouraging! Thank you!

thank you, raincountry. Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate you stopping by to comment.

I love @stellabelle her youtube channel and posts on here are great! Great artistic and smart! It's easy to learn from her. She makes it easy for all of us new steemers to understand it all.

Yep! Stellabelle is really good at what she does. I'm honored to have the opportunity to interview her in this video. Thank you artedellavita for stopping by to comment. That means a lot.

upvoted and following! It definitely is a great post, whatever little or a lot we make on here it is definitely more than we were doing for free on social media. I'm just happy to be part of this community.⭐️

Great article - I am looking to improve on my results. Thanks.

Excellent, bluethread. We are all looking to improve on our results. Thank you for stopping by to say hello. I've now followed you and look forward to staying in touch.

Excellent post. I joined Steemit back in August 2016, and figured out pretty quickly that making friends was key to getting upvotes. I spent a large chunk of time commenting on other people's posts and interacting in the chatroom, and most of my posts made decent money. I even paid a $300 vet bill just with money I earned on Steemit.

Then, I took a seven month break because all kinds of crazy things were going on (which I wrote about in my re-introduction post when I came back), and discovered that most of the people I used to always be able to count on for upvotes were not re-appearing (a few did, but not many).

So, I am re-building my following ALMOST from scratch. It's harder now that there are more people on Steemit. It's not as easy to get your posts noticed. But, I did it before, so I know I'll do it again. It just may take longer this time. :)

What you're saying makes sense. I find it takes a regular, persistent presence to make a difference. It is really about building a relationship with people and giving them value.

Thank you for sharing what you did. That means a lot. I look forward to staying in touch.

Terry

Thanks, @terrybrock. I'd like to stay in touch, too. Consider yourself followed. :)

Thanx!

yeah, consistency is really key as you mentioned here.....I forgot to emphasize that.

stellabelle, you rock! Thank you SO much for such great information you shared. You did a marvelous job with the interview.

I'd love to do more interviews with you in the future, if that would be alright with you. If you come up with some ideas perhaps we can kick it around the come up with something that you think would be very helpful to people. You and I share the attitude of being of service to others. Thanx for how you do that.

All the best!

sound advice

I'm so excited that I found this! I've invested a lot of money into exchanges because I believe in steemit. Until seeing this video, I didn't understand the process of powering steem up or down. I will certainly send my steem from bittrex over to this amazing platform. Thank you!

Glad it helped, deeboe1126. Thank you for visiting.
