A couple of us know this verse of the Bible--- As the world is talking of love today, this is the right time for you and I to reflect on the love of God for humanity, this is the right time to discover what the love of God truly is and the love of God is revealed in the Bible.

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. Verse Source
After Adam sinned against God, Man was destined for God’s punishment as it is written, the wages of sin is death. So wee that the sin of Adam brought severe condemnation to humanity. The punishment we are talking about is going to hell after death.

But God in his infinite love and mercies does not want either you or me to spend eternity in hell, it is not the will of God that any man should perish but that all will come to repentance. So you see, God loves you and He desires that you get saved.
And because of this love, God sent his son, Jesus, to die a cruel death on the Cross for you and me. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, Jesus paid that wage (price) by dying for you and me.
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

John 15:13. This is what love means, the son of God, Jesus, came down, humbled himself, took the nature of a man even though he was God, and died for us.

We should reflect on what Jesus did for us. And He did that for a purpose--- to save us from the wrought to come. Oh what would have become of us if Jesus had not died for us? Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ for loving us and dying for us.

Now Jesus has done this for us, we have our own part to play—our part is to accept His love towards us, repent and follow Jesus. This is what will guarantee that you will be saved when Jesus returns again. We must make Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life--- we cannot be saved except through and by Jesus. If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, then today is the right time to do so.
Come to Jesus today, don’t postpone that decision. If anyone dies without Jesus, it is a big tragedy—so please open your heart for Jesus today. Come to Jesus

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and my Saviour, now and forever. I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are alive today. Because of your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God and heaven is my home. Thank you for giving me eternal life, and filling my heart with your peace and Joy. Amen
