Each archangel is traditionally described as having specific attributes, so depending on the situation, you can ask for help to an angel who is specialized in the problem you have.
Archangel Raphael is presented as a great angel who has the power to heal and bind demons of the disease. He is often regarded as the ruler of guardian angels, the angel of providence who watches over all mankind.

In Hebrew, his name, composed of the words "Rafa" and "He," means "Lord the Healer" or "God Who Heals".
Archangel Raphael is represented in a pilgrim suit having an rod in form of a caduceus, in front of a water from which a fish jumps (according to the legend in the Book of Tobias).
And often represented with the index finger pointing upward, pointing the sky in a gesture of encouragement and hope, reminding us of where the true healing comes from.
Archangel Raphael is responsible for the healing of the Earth and its inhabitants.

Book of Tobias
Raphael is mentioned in the Book of Tobias, written at the beginning of the second century before Jesus, in which he is the main hero, under the appearance of a young man named Azarias.
An angel cannot be accused of pretender: Raphael means "God heals" and the adopted pseudonym - Azarias - translates into "God saves".
Azarias proposed to the teenager Tobias to accompany him to the country of Medea. He had to recover the money from a friend of his father Tobit, a pious Jew in Nineveh, who became blind and then ruined .
After several peripetials, the angel manages to recover money from the debtor and finds Tobias a wife in the person of the beautiful Sara. Then he escorts the young couple to Nineveh, where in the end Raphael heals Tobias's father Tobit of his blindness, using a grease made from the inwards of a fish.
Before leaving, the angel revealed his real indentity to the father and son in very simple words:
- “I am Raphael, one of the seven holy angels, which present the prayers of the saints, and which go in and out before the glory of the Holy One.” (Tobias, 12:15).
This Book puts the bases of angelology for the first time
It makes light in the guardian angel theology, which is grounded in the teaching of Jesus, according to which the children have guard angels (Matthew 18:10).
- A long time earlier, in his mission with young Tobias, the Angel of Raphael can be considered the prototype of the guardian angel.
