The problem with taking such passages as 'proof' is that they were written in the context of the time they were wrote. If we took things that we wrote today about what the future may hold then in 1700 years time, there is a very good statistical chance that some of our forecasts would have come true, but not cos we had actual knowledge of the future but because like the passages, we had made an educated guess.
