Hi! I just wanna share a verse for you tonight (9:00pm in our time) and it is found in
Romans 6:23 Which says, "For the Wages of Sin is Death, but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ"
This verse is divided into two "For the wages of sin is death" and "But the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ"
In this post I'm going to discuss the 1st part which is the "For the wages of sin is death" and I'm gonna divide it in different points.
1st point I'm going to emphasize is the word "wage". When we say "wage", you can say that in other terms as "payment". Like, we get paid for every work we have done. Now, when we say "wages of sin is death" it can be said that in every sin we make, the equal payment for that is "death". Death by means not in the flesh but eternal death.
2nd point is the word "sin". It does not state "sins", but "sin". Which means that, every sin, regardless of the degree is still a sin. Someone who robbed a dollar is no different to someone who robbed a million dollars. It is not about the degree but the the act itself which came out from the individual. Therefore sin is still sin.
3rd Point is the word death. Death here does not mean physical death. Rather, this means eternal death, which is forever be separated from the presence of God. And you know that place. A place all know too well. A place where there is no happiness and consumed with pain and agony.
To wrap things up for this post, the truth is all have sinned as stated in Romans 3:23. Therefore no one can brag about having no sin at all. And in every sin we make, it is equal to eternal death. Everything in this world has its eternal value. And it's up to us if we choose the right thing or not. Is we choose sin, then we choose death.
That ends the first part of this series. Please keep posted for the second part for it contains a good news for you. Hope you enjoy reading my post. An upvote will be much appreciated. You may also share your thoughts on this.
God bless everyone. . :)
