The Chain of Lakes Recreation Complex is located just north of Brevard Community College off of Jay Jay Road. The complex’s main focus centers on the creation of a series of interconnected lakes that treat stormwater runoff from both Titusville and unincorporated Brevard County prior to its discharge into the Indian River Lagoon. The scope of the project has evolved from this original concept as a stormwater management project to also include environmental education facilities and athletic facilities such as adult and youth softball and soccer fields.
The Chain of Lakes project was developed as the result of a unique partnering between the City of Titusville, Brevard County, Brevard Community College, Parrish Medical Center and St. Johns River Water Management District.
