We have a group of 30+ accounts that vote prior to our @buildawhale vote, some have as much as $6 upvote power. They vote right after the bid.

It means the second window was twice as busy as the first.
it's unfair, you could upvote later when you will have better upvote, I wanted to send more and more, next time I was thinking to send 30 and increase by 10 everytime, I am un investor and I want profit but not to give my money to someone to take the same amount back, and you know that that half go to steem power, why you do like that, it's not good, it;s internet, it;s steem everything is shown to the crowd !
The only factor in deciding an upvote percent is based on the total amount of bids by other users. Maybe you should check out the video on this post to understand better. This should have been clear by now I think from the conversation above. Not only that but you still made money with your bid, earned rep and promotional value. What are you complaining about?
There is no guarantee the type of upvote you get, it is based on your bid and the bids of the others in the same bidding window.
The bot is a promotion tool, not your own personal cash register.
I am sorry you are unhappy with your $40.85 upvote which happens to be 98% of your votes.
