Mises Article: Socialism Now with Computers

in #big7 years ago (edited)

The failures of socialist states are obvious and horrifying, yet there never seems to be a shortage of intellectuals eager to churn out new schemes for central planning. Malcolm Harris discusses the latest of these suggestions, which claims that the traditional economic problems of socialism can be resolved by harnessing the power of modern data collection and computing, through a kind of “cyber Stalinism.”

So you are an anti sozialist muslim. Interesting. I thought those two things are a contradiction.

I dont like people who play god, those people do, they have the arrogance to shape and engineer whole societies according to their whims.

Thats my problem. Islam has basic set rules, some of them (not the most) are overlapping with socialism.
But also many points which are in common with capitalism, like property, homesteading, making profit, investing, little taxation, and many more points.

The first wife of the Prophet (saw) was for example a successful business-woman, together with his husband.
