The only person anywhere near whale status I get a large upvote from, sometimes 100%, is v4vapid, and we hardly even talk.
He likes my posts, and I like his, there is no brown nose in that, and no I am not saying you were saying that about me.
It does feel nice to be appreciated at times though, as we all know.
When I put out good content I get more votes, too.
It's not about the social with a lot of voters, it's about appealing to their voting fingers.
