Time will tell, hopefully they are legitimately doing the right thing. My assumption is that Sun had them push through this shit under the guise of business as usual. It seems he took a different tactic with Huobi and claimed the chain was being attacked by hackers. One thing is for sure and that is that the stories are not lining up so someone is clearly a liar in all of this. Seeing how publicly CZ is addressing this and how Huobi made an official statement explaining exactly why they did what they did and then removed the vote. My assumption is that Sun is the one spinning bullshit, but most people can probably figure that out by just watching his tweets and posts.

yeah but they are running a function on a hot-wallet so there are probably corporate rules in place that require a lot of confirmation. they dont know how steem works obviously.
Think about how many people have access to that active key. It's possible that no one has access to it and everything is either automated or requires permission from multiple employees to unlock.
