The name I go by is 'Binski Alamo'. I'm a fairly strong minded person who usually takes a stance on issues that goes against the grain. It's one of the best known traits of my personality. I consider myself a more than reasonably educated and experienced person. That being said, we all do our best to use our best judgement, based on both logic and hopefully intuition, to explore the world of data that we connect to. In our era, the easy access to information, and its ease of duplicity or forgery, presents a monumental problem to the handling of information as a commodity and how it is consumed. Anyone can access large amounts of information in today's age, and the amount of those who can fake sources, information details and events also increases with that. In turn our world of information handling becomes a jungle-like free-for-all melee of conflicting ideas, sources and perceptions. Just getting accurate information about the world becomes its own battle in a war to influence reception and perception of information. In my experience, I choose to be a bastion on the front line of that battle, using whatever power or influence I have available to me to promote information proliferation of topics and events that would otherwise be buried, ignored and obfuscated by more powerful influences. Every individual on the internet has the option and ability to be their own "Alamo" and hunker down for the battle of our age. Much of what I post will be regarding sociological, political and scientific issues, but will also include less urgent or imminently effecting topics like technological reviews, games and entertainment. I personally am active locally in my own music community, and have always lived a life as a student of music and pop culture media from all eras. My goal here is to promote issues I consider important and deserving of attention. Especially where it has become common place to industrialize disinformation and subversion of the truth on a mass scale, all over the world. To quote one of the greats, the most important aspect to any information processing, is "Think for yourself, question authority" (~ Bill Hicks), or in other words, always be a critical thinker.
