Could Man-Made Environments Steal Our Identities?

in #biology6 years ago (edited)

I stumbled upon an interesting link in a comment that got me thinking:

Is it possible that our artificial, heavily orchestrated and controlled environment may be reducing natures ability to create necessary diversity within the human race?

Physicists in a California lab have successfully created "twin" snowflakes by iliminated the variables produced in a natural setting. This post by the New York Times states;

As the East Coast braces for the first ferocious snowstorm of the season, we wanted to revisit a frosty adage: Is it true that no two snowflakes are the same? Never, ever ever?

Not quite, said Kenneth G. Libbrecht, a physicist at the California Institute of Technology, who found a way to create what he calls “identical twin” snowflakes in his lab.

Since each snowflake faces a different turbulent path through the atmosphere, each twist, turn and fall grants it a unique symmetry. But if you subtract nature’s volatility from the equation, then these icy flowers are no longer guaranteed uniqueness.

As above, So Below

The Micro is similar to the Macro. If we take this Law of nature into account, we can come to the realization that the same would apply to complex organisms exposed to a controlled environment during the developmental state, which humans are perpetually in. This correlates heavily with the work of Cellular Biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton who has proven at a cellular level that we are not victims of our DNA, rather we are activating genetic traits based on the environmental variables which we are subject to.

All of the structures, laws, programming, entertainment and advertising. All of the architecturally guide-lined dwelling projects and mainstreamed home and clothing fashion fads. All of the implanted desires and wants in place of needs. All contributing to a controlled environment that is effecting our development in a specific and similar direction.

Are We Buying What They Are Selling?

Our most important resource, and only true currency, is our time. What are we spending our time and focusing our attention on? Is it being spent wisely or wasted frivolously on social media platforms and entertainment sources? Are we consciously controlling our own environment by actively choosing what, where, when, why, how, or are we allowing ourselves to constantly be exposed to an environment determined and controlled by others who do not have our best interest in mind? Where is this development process taking us as an aggregate?

The only way we as a species can unlock our true genetic potential and overcome tyranny is by taking control of our own environment. The steps to achieving this are simple;

  • Recognize and come to terms with the problems we face and: Stop lying to ourselves.
  • Consciously make the decision to want to effect change and educate ourselves.
  • Educate ourselves and practically apply and share the knowledge we acquire.
  • Take control of every aspect of our own lives: Nutrition, health (physical, mental/emotional and spiritual), education, environment, entertainment, work, love, don't be a victim!
  • Say NO and stop supporting corrupt organizations and individuals who do not have the best interest of humanity at heart.

Let's Be Unique

Humans did not incarnate on this plane to sit in a cubical for 8-12 hours a day or do the same occupation for 50 years. We are here to develop and grow through learning by diverse experience. There's no video you can watch that can compare to an actual experience, no lesson you could better learn through someone else's actions.

We need to begin making decisions based on morality and individual goals and dreams rather than the common denominator of money, or ultimately the fear of the lack thereof. By taking control of our own environment and development process we can follow our passions and contribute positively to humanity in our own unique, individual way. Or is the image below more appealing to us?
