Hello Steemit,
I'v been introducing you to the wonderful birds I see from our rainforest house in cairns (Australia).
This time.. the (australian) yellow cheeked honey eater. These guys rule a few particular trees in the front yard and turn up to chirp at any intruders. They have grown quite used to me, and the bird bath, they have a dip nearly every afternoon!
Thanks for checking out my post, if you liked it, please upvote it, and have a look through the other little feathered friends i have in my front yard!
see ya next time... Alice (and Billie)

Adorable little creatures and you're not so bad yourself! Like the post as it brings us all closer together with photos and interesting facts. Lovely thank you
oh, thanks. I'm so lucky there are so many little bird families living in trees within meters of the house. :)
