Today Brooch made me nervous. Since I cared about him, when his parents threw him out of the nest, he considered me his mother. Most of all he likes to sit on my head. I would not be surprised if one day he makes a nest there and brings a girlfriend.
This is how I found him.
He also likes to twist his beak on my earrings or piercing in my eyebrow. I never thought he could take it off! I did not feel how he unscrewed the tiny ball on my piercing, but I heard a strange sound, as if he was nibbling on something. When I realized what thing he was holding in his beak, I was horrified! After all, he could choke. It was necessary to act calmly, but decisively, so that he did not have time to swallow.
Now I can not explain how I could do it, but I literally shook the ill-fated ball out of his beak. It was a huge relief. My Brooch was now safe.
He was not very upset and immediately began to disassemble the mouse on my desk. All the same, parrots are like little children! They need constant monitoring because of their curiosity and stubborn nature. If they decide to do something, they will strive to complete what they have begun, even if you point out to them that they cannot do this.
Ah! He is so big and beautiful. They are cleverer than we realise with their beaks and tongues
I have a few stubborn cats like that...Too smart for their own good at times...
Son hermosos y tiernos, pero muchas veces traviesos, les encantan las Joyas de Oro y Plata y toda clase de Bisutería, hasta los botones de las camisas, por eso hay que tener cuidado con lo que puedan morder con el pico y se puedan tragar, aun mas si son corto punzantes, también se debe tener cuidado cuando se pasean libres por las casa porque también les encanta masticar cables de los electrodomésticos.
