RE: Curation: How are you doing? - Part 2

in #bisteemit7 years ago

I'd like to be included in this weeks post. I think that curation depends on what you're going for. If all you're focusing on is earning the most per vote then for the most part I'd think you'd look for big posts and as you said vote in the 25-30 mark, but if you're trying to find good articles with very little exposure and upvote those I would assume that hurts your curation rewards, but is better for steemit overall?

Sort:

I make WAY more money on posts with a $10-$50 total payout than on the posts with $50+. I've been watching this closely for maybe two months now on my own voting.

So - I mostly vote at 27+ minutes on a less than $2 payout. If the post goes on to make $10-$30 total payout - that is usually the big curation reward for me. If the post goes over $100 - I get less, since some Whale votes "stomp" on me (technical term lol).

The key is where I end up in the rank of voters - If I'm in the top 5 - great payout. If I'm below the top 20 - bad payout.

Awesome thanks for sharing this. It won't change the way I vote because I usually vote on people whose content I like and it's usually who I follow, but it's great information to know!

Great, I will add you in for next week. @fitinfun made a super reply to you :)
