Why do people say that litecoin is a clone of bitcoin and obsolete? Seems like right now people have every reason to use litecoin instead of bitcoin as it's transactions are alot faster, it's already adopted segwit and will be on it's way to implementing the LN. Bitcoin looks like it has a long way to go before either will happen. Transaction times are increasing by the day.
But for some reason while litecoin is improving and bitcoin is stagnating and getting slower, bitcoin is rising in price and litecoin is dropping right now. Why can't these co-exist together, and why isn't litecoin skyrocketing in this environment? especially since short term litecoin seems superior.
full disclosure, for the reasons above I hold mostly litecoin as I believe there is alot more upside than it's given price represents in comparison with bitcoin.
I totally agree. Bitcoin is for a savings account when or if they fix things. Ethereum is for contracts. And Litecoin is for getting a cup of coffee or pizza. Once people figure this out they will do a oh crap thing and pile into it. So push that price down so I can load up!
exactly. I can understand why the price is going up for bitcoin. It's the first mover and is the first thing any dabbling into cryptocurrency buys, but why are people selling litecoin? Just the past two days alone ive seen video after video where people have mentioned bitcoin transaction delays and how people are using litecoin to transact because it's super fast. HODL

Is it correct that if I buy litecoin or eth in my coinbase account I can't move it? Only BC? that sounds weird but I certainly don't want it stuck in coinbase if that is correct, thanks
check out this video below. Hopefully that's helpful. You should be able to take all your cryptocurrencies offline or move it to a hardware wallet. I have not done it yet but will probably do so in a month or two.
