If you have invested in cryptos recently, you might be the biggest loser in the space!!!
The early-early adapters are the ones that won't be affected by what going to happen if the price go down, because of the 1st of August mighty clash.
For people like me, who got into Bitcoin in the recent months, and got in while bitcoin was hitting historical records, I doubt that we can make anymore money than what we already have on our hands, for the short run. And by the short run i mean next 10 months, so get ready for the ride.
This get us to the subject on hand, why we as fanatics or devoted bitcoin/cryptocurrencies users have to participate and be part of the 1st of August hurricane? Well, the answer is simple: we tried to escape centralised monetary systems, by adapting the blockchain technologies that facilitated the birth of cryptos, and today miners want to have that central power, or in other words: create a cryptocurrency(bitcoin for this case) central bank! Where they will have the control. For that I would urge everyone to be active and speak loudly so they hear us.
Say no to miners....
If you truly understood cryptocurrecy, then the Aug. 1st "issue" is a non-issue. Saying no to miners is saying turn off bitcoin. It makes no sense. Segwit should happen to improve the capacity of the bitcoin blockchain and network.
