Enjin, My New Mobile Crypto Wallet

in #bitcoin6 years ago

Last time I had a crypto wallet on my smartphone I used jaxx liberty after the classic was sent to retirement. I haven't had too much cryptos on it and I don't think I will store such in a near future either but since I talk, write and read about crypto everyday I thought I should have a mobile crypto wallet even if jaxx doesn't work anymore...or at least not properly. There's always another option to choose from.

Yesterday I wrote about the new Samsung Galaxy S10 to feature a cold storage crypto wallet and I also mentioned Enjin in my article. I actually referred to the Enjin token as having a serious pump after the launch of S10 but now I am writing about the wallet which is much more than just a pump.

Last evening when thinking of a mobile wallet it came to my mind the S10 smartphone which has just been launched and hyped about having a crypto wallet and I thought why not search the play store for Enjin and that's how I found myself a mobile wallet. A secure one featuring a password or fingerprint for accessing holdings and of course the famous 12 keys for restoring the wallet. Seems legit.

It supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and many Etehereum created tokens like OmiseGo having the ERC something in their name. I am interested only into Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum because I would only use a mobile wallet to buy and sell cryptocurrencies via ATMs and that's when I would need one. Or to show people "what's a crypto" when talking about.

I haven't stored anything on it but seems a good option for a mobile wallet if you're not into storing too many cryptos. I appreciate very much the password and the fingerprint reader and will test it with some ETH to see how transactions work and I am also curious how did it "knew my fingerprint" already without having to register it.

I initially set up a password and then I noticed that it automatically "offered itself" to allow me to enter the wallet even with my fingerprint. Probably my smartphone has offered it for free without asking me. Who knows? I will not hold most of my crypto holdings on it for sure but it's useful to have it at hand and to know that it's a reliable one, unlike the jaxx liberty that doesn't restore my wallet and simply doesn't work...properly. The classic work flawlessly...

Thanks for attention and have a great day!
Adrian

So many crypto wallet these days but this look like good option for a mobile wallet because of cold storage with Samsung

Unfortunately I’m with apple iPhone, Hoping to see apple introducing its own crypto wallet soon

It will sure. There's too much competition between the two tech giants.

Looks to be a very convenient wallet...I will have a try on it

It's worth trying.

Well, i had no problems with Jaxx and to be honest to jump into a wallet just cause of S10 well.... nothing new that hasnt been offered before. Many other wallets do the same and store more tokens that this Enjin one.. Which dont get me wrong.. kudos to Enjin for their achievement... but they are not reinventing the wheel..

Regards

With jaxx classic I haven't had any problem either. With liberty though I can't restore my wallet. There are plenty of complaints on the play store regarding jaxx screwing their wallet with the liberty upgrade. Do you have any better sugestions?
I am always open towards better versions.
