So Much FUD

Finding good impartial news on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is difficult. Many of the major mainstream news sources love to push FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). If Bitcoin has a drop in price you have the headlines proclaiming it's instability and touting the latest hacks and other negative news. If the price is on an upswing you have pundits saying it is a bubble and not to bet on it.

My problem with this is these are all opinionated articles and not based on enough fact to make their proclamations believable. Maybe it will turn out they are correct and cryptocurrencies will fall hard, but I think they are not giving them enough credit. Too many articles are written by people who clearly do not understand the technicalities of cryptocurrencies well or are so ingrained in other methods (i.e. stock markets) that they do not see the potential or appreciate the volatility of crypto markets.
