Ethereum mainstream adoption have just suffered another blow with the Google delisting of MetaMask from Chrome and Android marketplace without any reason or indication when it will be back.
MetaMask is decentralized app (dApp) that allows chrome browser users to seamlessly interface with the Ethereum blockchain without running a full node. It has been the first point of call for most people creating ethereum wallet for the first time.
This hostile action from Google had sparked sharp criticism from the crypto community and prompted the following response from MetaMask
MetaMask isstill available on the following browsers Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Brave.
