On July 10th, 2017, the UASF developers dropped the 1.0 release.
Read the Release Announcements on Reddit and Github .
If you are still only singling BIP-148 or running older version(0.3) of the UASF core you should upgrade to the latest version. Github release pages offers both binaries and source code for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
For people running Ubuntu Linux and using the bitcoin:bitcoin PPA.
You should temperately remove/comment out this PPA and use the binary/source code from Github.
Alternatively, Bitcoin Core developer and the creator of several miners Luke-Jr has been maintaining an Unofficial UASF PPA on Launchpad.net which offers the latest build.
To use his PPA, First make sure the Official PPA is disabled, then in a Terminal, run:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:luke-jr/bitcoin-core-bip148-unofficial-builds
sudo apt-get update
(Note: Use Unofficial PPAs at your own risk!)
Still not sure which fork you should support? Still don't know why users and developers are against Segwit2x and Bitmain?
Pete Rizzo from Coindesk.com has an pretty clear and accurate explanation.
Don't be evil, even you are a miner.
