but that's fine. as long as you hold they keys, and you do hold them with Electrum, you can always claim a forked coin.

Just make sure to move your Bitcoin to another address to avoid some weird splitting bugs, before you claim.

Thanks for the advice since I am using Electrum for my everyday bitcoin transactions.
Another reason to STAY AWAY, until the dust from this mess settles.
Iv been getting called out as an idiot for trying to explain this to someone. This possible fork is great news. Free is free :)
Yeah, but look at the BTC price...
For me that is a good thing because I was planning on this all along. The combined price of btc+btcc+btc-u should still be greater than that of btc on its own. I am not worried about long term loss. If bitcoin fails everything fails at this moment in time. Hopfully it drops back under 2k but that is probably a pipe dream.
They are not going to fork BTC on Aug. 1st because they already have with BCC, am I the only one that sees the fraud here? If you buy a digital apple from me and I replicate it before giving it to you have I given you anything that I do not have? No, I still have a digital apple, now you do too, but I also now got your money. I am not saying BCC is not giving away free money, I am saying BCC should get so inflated with extra BCC that the price should go way down after Aug. 1st from inflation and people selling off their free altcoins. Here is what an honest token looks like Uetoken.com
There's zero fraud, if I hand you an orange for having an apple where's the problem?
