RE: $10,000 per month for 3 bedroom condo

If you decide to actually move to Miami, you might actually look in the upper areas of Miami Beach better for residential, although Brickell City Centre is very new and just built. The benefits of South Pointe and other Sobe areas over downtown Brickell is that you will have access to the beach and a way better VIEW of the beaches/ocean/nature, the parks and all the restaurants and things are still walking distance -- and there are more schools -- and of course, these buildings are also secure. Look at these:

(This owner might negotiate on rental price as the property has been on the market more than 120 days).

@craig-grant Thanks for the vote!

I heard you mention that you like the city 'feel', but I also heard that you like nature/water and that you want good schools for your boys (and a 3bedroom).. If you want to ALSO be in the BEST area for networking.. Bal Harbour is probably the best "package" for all of that. Very little "touristy/transient/vacationer/rush hour" type of people/traffic -- very "upscale" and very exclusive city/residential mix. Check this one out:

This unit is a 4bedroom/4.5bath also has a Private Elevator and you can probably get a price reduction after 90 days on the market (it's like on the market 84days now) AND a re-decoration at no expense to you, if you want to change the theme of the decor (as it comes furnished). It is located across the street from Bal Harbour Shops which is the destination shopping for most of the 1% (which is set to expand soon). They have a great cross section restaurants in the mall for any time of the day and any occasion -- I love the Japanese restaurant for lunch and they have the best coffee house in that area. And of course, the shopping is top of the line in a beautiful location -- Brickell City Centre was built on the concept of this mall. (of all the cities North of Coral Gables), THIS is the place you live to build "connections" and really "network" in the most natural fashion = just LIVE.

Now.. you can look about a little south of Bal Harbour at the Azure (still walking distance to Bal Harbour Mall and Publix) -- still ocean views.. Cut your range in half (to $5400 a month) and get the same type of amenities. This is a "younger" developing area whereas Bal Harbour is very established. I could recommend an upscale stager to furnish your spot (with or without your input as to theme) within 24hours for a great rate (which you are saving buy cutting rental cost AND allows you to switch out your furniture when you want overnight).
