True, after shelving SegWit2x slot seems to be happening behind the scenes. However, for a major fork to happen miners will not let go of their current rewards which explains why the transaction fee is going up! Nice sharing the info.
I'm having trouble finding info on Bitcoin Silver or any other hard fork. Can you please provide sources? I know that CME will be doing Bitcoin Futures and also JP Morgan has stated they are looking into providing Bitcoin "products" to their consumers.
