I never have had to and Genisis mining is all about allowing privacy for its customers. This is why you can hold multiple accounts at any given point paid for by the same credit card but under different names. The reason that Credit Card purchases take so long is the company is making sure that it's not a stolen account or id fraud, thus the extremely long waiting period of purchase.
