I'm interviewing the CCO of Exodus Wallet, Daniel Castagnoli and ask a few question about wallet safety and security.
Questions asked:
- Tell us about yourself and how you got into Crypto
- Why did you make Exodus, how did you come up with the idea
- What are a Hot Wallet and the advantages
- What are transaction fees, and how does Exodus deal with them (is amount sent the amount we specify?)
- What happens if there is a bitcoin chain split (are our funds safe on Exodus)
- Why do we have to wait for wallets to refresh
- If we upgrade the wallet, are there any risks of losing our funds (upgrade error, lose stored data on the computer?)
- Any Tips for Exodus Users
If you guys have additional questions, I would love to bring him back in a few months!

Been using Exodus for few months now. Great support and beautiful wallet! I don't have anything bad to say about Exodus but hardware wallets are the best for storing your coins.

@boxmining This was invaluable information to me as I have been using Exodus.io since the start. They have added Token accumulation in their latest update which allows you to pull in some newer Tokens like EOS which I covered in one of my posts a week ago. Thanks man.

I've been using exodus for small amounts. Feels good, but yeah, it lacks security options atm.
"What happens if there is a bitcoin chain split?" That's the important questions for all and no one seem to have an answer
it was tackled later. Basically exodus is a bitcoin wallet, so even if there is a chainsplit you can access both coins.
Does Exodus wallet plan to have a linux platformed based wallet?
yup they support linux too!

I do like Exodus and hope they improve on it and add Steem.
I am sure they will, but as mentioned, Shapeshift must support Steem first.

I was really happy to see that Exodus wallet is available on Linux. So I installed it. The ShapeShift feature is a huge bonus. =)
This is a great video. I'm learning a lot about this wallet. I especially like that I can run it on multiple devices.
