Following my post about Wavecrest disabling cards from Shakepay yesterday, it seems that they have also disabled Visa cards for TenX and other card issuers as well. It seems like it was a surprise announcement and the notification period was only 12 hours prior to disabling.
Currenlty card issuers like TenX are working with other companies to issue out cards:
- Issue only affects Wavecrest - seems like other representives are NOT affected. But companies like TenX are still preparing the new cards
- Wavecrest is used by most crypto card issuers in Europe
Check out this update from Julian from TenX
If visa is afraid, then it's a good sign
Hi Marc,
thought you might like this: https://www.cryptosclass.com/
It seems like there where mismatches between Visa and WaveCrest.
All WaveCrest Cards are affected. The press office of Visa Germany said there is no context to crypto at all.
except for investors in TenX of course
If visa is afraid, we might not be able to use crypto in the real world. They, MasterCard, et al are the ones with the global card system.
Down with VISA, arise TENX!
i cant wait to one day use card for crytocurrency

How do you think or what bitcoin price predictions in 2018 will it rise or fall?
I want to survey some people's opinions
Even if it falls this year or any year, it will rise back again next year.
They are trying everything they can to stop the rise of bitcoin.

What is the issue with the card block
Have a look at Monaco
Dr. Julian, I believe in you and your team’s commitment to make TenX a very successful payment card. I don’t HODL my tokens. I cherish it.
Aloha!
Anyone have any good experiences using cryptocurrency cards or are they still a concept? Personally, I'm liking how the Monaco card (MCO) is developing, but perhaps there are better ones already out there?
It's a stressful time for these companies, but the fact that the big dogs are pulling back will fuel the cryptocommunuty in a positive way for sure.
very nice presentation
