Bitcoin Bubble - Caution Advised (By Me)

in #bitcoin8 years ago

Bitcoin may have existed for a long time now but the big banks and multinationals are getting more involved in a market that was once populated by those who support alternative currencies. What we should take from this corporate involvement is it's a lot more likely the bubble that has been created, pushing BTC up to $2500, down from the $3000 a few days ago, will burst at some point and those hoping to profit will lose out.

I have had Bitcoin and other crypto currencies for years, only small amounts though, but watched as the whales abused the market platforms to make themselves decent profits and we small fish got screwed. The same is true elsewhere. We are still cleaning up after what happened in 2008 when the banks started failing. The interesting thing about this is they acted the same way this time as in a previous recession; once they secured bailouts, they kept the money and didn't do what they were supposed to be doing which was lend out the money to keep the economy going. And this caused more damage.

Bubble and Bust is inevitable. Just please be careful and don't use more than you can afford to lose.
