The Dollar vigilante explains in this video what the US government is currently doing to monitor its citizen and control their ability to investin in Bitcoin.
What will you do if you are in this situation (feel free to contact me for advice) send in your comments, resteem and upvote
Lets start the conversation.
I heard about this ! If the government control everything and get the taxes from it , then you know they will try to stop it ! That's the government for you ! The government doesn't seem to bother us to much here in Canada , yet ! Its just a matter of time though !! 👍👍👍
Thanks for your comment. Maybe you can send Trump some of your yummy yummy yum Grilled meat in order to lobby him into allowing US citizens to freely invest in Bitcoin. Thanks for your comment and support.
Haha ! Its amazing what a good steak can do !! 👍👍👍
Absolutely, just give it a try.
OK ! LOL!👍😂

They fear cryptocurrencies for one reason, and one reason alone: cryptos are very difficult to regulate
Correct..Blockchain technology...thanks
It's funny to learn that people will be required to declare the cryptos in their wallet at US airports when travelling when the bill is passed.
The government fears it because the IRS would find it impossible to extort the citizenry when the transactions are untraceable...
They are only untraceable as long as they remain crypto-currencies but when they get converted to US dollars then they are very traceable. To be truly free from the IRS we need to play with our own ball in our own game and we need to stop using US Dollars all together in our transactions. We're still a ways off from that becoming reality however. But it is a goal to work towards!
Totally agree...
Point, thanks for sharing
crypto currencies have a nice future i think
The top ones with solid backings..some are shit coins and thus scams..
True talk @charles1
...... a lot are scams
welcome.
Here is Chris Duanes rant on the subject (please bear in mind he sells silver):
Haha, good one . Thanks for sharing.
I believe even with the stringent conditions they plan, bitcoin acceptance will soar in the long run.
Thanks for sharing @charles1
Welcome

success and thanks for the resteeming
you're welcome

The logic in regard to Coinbase and Wyoming is Flawed. If I borrow your car and you let me but I don't give it back within the time period you want it, yet I have the intention to give it back eventually without regard to your need for the car; is that not theft? I'm not talking about being an hour late on returning a car, but an extended period of time. Is that not the same scenario coin base is engaged in with people's crypto?
Good point, I agee with you. Polonix is doing even worse...most people are complaining
I used Polo once or twice and wasn't too thrilled with their platform so I found another to use. Now, with all that is happening. I am so glad I didn't use it. I have seen much internet chatter of a civil action lawsuit against them. Would be interesting to see how it goes with them.
Good point. Have you check Bittrex?
It's a decent platform. Kraken and Gemini offer more services such as account funding and withdrawal. The account creation process is longer but is well worth it. I use multiple platforms because sometimes wallet transactions can become slow at an exchange and having access to funds in multiple ways is vital, especially during ICO events... and I don't have to keep my funds all in one place.
Good point. Diversification is the key...see this wallet too where you can use debit, credit card and paypal for transactions and also invest. Investor: https://xcoins.io/investors?r=v93e2z
Thanks for your comment.
Jeff is Awesome.
I agree. You too.
Kind of interesting question. Even though i didn't think about it in past. I just Know that the bitcoin is making everyone's life easy. This thing has spread the wealth to those who know about cryptocurrency.
I agree, good point
My thoughts are this, BTC will be treated like a stock or other commodity exchange and you won't get taxed until it is converted into liquidable cash. So theoretically.....if i wanted to clean it, I would have my bitcoin, buy silver/gold off a website, have it shipped. go straight to the jewelry district and cash in. hell even the jewelry district takes BTC so just go there exchange and voila. Untraced cold hard cash.
Hehe smart comment indeed. I agree.
