This is my call to action for all the Steem'ians out here:
Start counting your spare cash and purchase as much Bitcoin and solid fundamental cryptocurrencies as you can! You won't be seeing this kind of prices from March onwards.
There is a nice Inverse Head & Shoulders forming on the 1D timestamp on BTCUSD(Bitfinex). And the sentiment of people looks to be bullish both from social media and from charting different timestamps.
I noticed that some people are kind of sceptic and cold hearted when they're about to invest in cryptocurrencies.. I believe that is because of not understanding the technology behind them. From mine and many other experts' point of view is that we find ourselves at the beginning of a revolution in all industries.
The blockchain, smart-contracts and the literally unlimited applications and use-cases of cryptocurrencies make them premium assets with great potential, but be careful as there are many scams out there like in every niche. Do your own research thoroughly and learn from veterans! Don't be bold and throw yourself in the greed that is building up on the majority of newbies when they made a decent trade because you will most probably "burn" yourself and be left in a mud of regrets.
My favourite coins: STRATIS(STRAT), METAL(MTL), CINDICATOR (CND) and STEEM(STEEM). These are solid coins with great products(concepts) and developers(team) behind them. You should be confident in investing in these. Of course there are others as well, this is just my advice.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor, so you should do your own research and take your decisions based on that. ;)

I'm hoping you are right! To the moon we go?
I have seen a lot of people starting to talk negative on crypto and stating this is a new and deeper bear market. Bitcoin might go back to 6k usd...
Bitcoin is going to at least $50k this year, trust me. And we will most probably have an altcoin spring between April-July. I'm expecting a huge shot to the moon from Stratis. It is so undervalued at the moment..
Cryptocurrency certainly offers a unique opportunity to first time investors, with the space still very much unregulated, the chance to make a quick buck can be appealing.
What are the springboard coins or tokens?
Bitcoin does look somewhat of a bargain when compared against 2017 trends.
Litecoin has litepay which is dropping, will this be the tipping point required for traditional adoption?
What about the lesser know coins, bit bean, consistently green in a sea of red the last few weeks.
Interesting times indeed.
Haven't heard about bitbeans so I cannot give you an informed opinion. Just took a look on their website and I don't see any innovative products. Compared to Stratis it is dust..Be careful- when a coin is green in a sea of red it might be pump&dump. :)
Year I hear you. I believe the main selling point of Bit bean was the size of its blockchain, however your point still stands.
Pump and dumps if judged correctly can be great things too. I mean look what happened with the Jesus coin 2 weeks ago,1000+% is a mere 24hrs. Those numbers change lives very quickly.
Having said all of that I tend to only invest in those coins that have a story, something to offer I.e. Steem, Litecoin, Lisk (bargain price at the moment).
Nobody says you can't make profits from pump and dumps but they are risky. Personally I only invest in projects with good fundamentals like you do as well. ;)
Fact.
