I just installed Exodus and started loading off my Web Wallets. I transferred 8 BTC it flashed up with the balance for a second and reset to 0 just like you described. refreshing the wallet didn't help. I put the address in the blockexplorer too which showed 0. After about 20 minutes the BTC reappeared in the wallet. I'm not sure how this works but I would have worried less if the amount didn't flash up in the wallet immediately before resetting to 0.
