So in our local area there is a Facebook group for locals to decorate rocks and go out and hide them. The idea is that if your out and about and find a rock you share a picture on the group and re-hide the rock. It's all fun and games for the kid's but when i saw them painting their own to go hide i couldn't resist and had to do my own Bitcoin one.
I try my best to spread the word about Bitcoin when ever i can so i am keen to see if this generates any discussion on the Facebook page. A few local businesses have used the page to promote themselves by painting branded rocks and offering freebies for people that find them. I did think about offering some Bitcoin for the first person that found it but then i bottled it at the last minute when i thought about the complexities that could bring.
I think i may do some different cryptocurrency logos and go put them around the local area. The next one to do maybe be Bitcoin Cash as i could use Cointext as a simple way to send some BCH to people that find it.
I'm interested to know if anyone has any idea's or any thoughts and weather this is a good idea to try and spread the word around cryptocurrency on a local level.
