💵 Bakkt to launch cash-settled bitcoin futures next month
Bakkt Bitcoin (BTC) Futures platform has officially announced the launch of cash-settled bitcoin futures.
Bakkt will offer the new product via Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)’s Singapore unit and plans to list it on Dec. 9
“Our new cash settled futures contract will offer investors in Asia and around the world a convenient, capital efficient way to gain or hedge exposure in bitcoin markets,” said Lucas Schmeddes, COO of ICE's Singapore unit.
📱 Kraken Futures Trading App now on iOS and Android
Kraken announced on its blog that it is launching a mobile app version of Kraken Futures.
The newly introduced Kraken Futures app will also enable its users to sign-in with a QR code, and manage open positions and open orders, among others.
The app will be available on both the iOS and Android platforms.
📚 Coinbase Custody Extends Crypto Staking to Global Investors
The institutional asset custody arm of Coinbase has announced it is transitioning to an internationally-based staking service.
The announcement states the custodian intends to offer all of its global clients “appropriate access to crypto first features like staking.”
Coinbase Custody has been offering an institution focused staking service for Tezos (XTZ) as of March 2019.
