Recently a lot of famous people have begun to talk about Bitcoin. These famous people are not just in technology but also in many different areas of science and business. There are many Hollywood actors and politicians that have decided to take bitcoin under their wing.
One person who I’m sure everyone has heard of, has recently been quoted about bitcoin is Bill Gates, Microsoft co founder and known Humanist. He was quoted saying “Bitcoin is a technological tour de force.”
Milton Friedman the winner of a Nobel Peace Prize in Economics also had something to say about cryptocurrency and the future of the internet. Milton Freidman was quoted saying, “ I think the internet is going to be one of the major forces for reducing the role of government. The one thing that’s missing, but will soon be developed, is a reliable E-cash.”
Tyler Winklevoss, the Facebook Forerunner was quoted saying, “ We have elected to put our money and faith in a mathematical framework that is free of politics and human error.”
Another household name has taken interest in Bitcoin and that is Ashton Kutcher. This Hollywood actor has always been on the forefront of technology. When www.twitter.com was first started Ashton Kutcher was one of the first movers to drive people to join. On stage at TechCrunch in 2013 Ashton Kutcher was quoted saying, “ The Bitcoin Revolution is Here”.
Paul Buchheit, the creator of Gmail was quoted saying, “ Bitcoin may be the TCP/IP of money”.
Al Gore, the 45th Vice President of the United States was quoted saying, “ I think the fact that within the bitcoin universe an algorithm replaces the functions of governments is actually pretty cool. I am a big fan of bitcoin”.
Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve was quoted saying, “ Virtual currency’s may hold long term promise, particularly if the innovations promote a faster, more secure and more efficient payment system”.
