NanoMate - A game changer for Nano/Raiblocks 🧐🎬 QuickTake

in #bitcoin β€’ 7 years ago

Hi Steemers... I wanted to quickly introduce you to NanoMate; an application built on top of Nano/Raiblocks... https://nanomate.co/ NanoMate is a way to send Nano to your friends via email/sms/whatsapp etc... This is how it works

You visit the site and enter your email address, your friends email address, your name and a message if you want. Like so...

Next you send whatever amount of Nano you want to the address that comes up. In the example I use 10 nano... Once you make the payment via your nano wallet for example... A message will come up saying successful. And thats it... you done...

What happens next is that an email is sent to your friends address. When your friend clicks the link it takes them to the receive section of the site.

All they need to do now is enter their nano wallet address... the rest will already be populated and click receive... and in seconds the nano is now in their wallet. This truly is amazing tech... Here is the link to the site https://nanomate.co/

Please try it out for yourself... and let your friends know about it as well... I already sent 2 payments to 2 friends and they were super impressed and asked alot of questions. An important point to mention is that for now, there is a small fee for using the service. This is understandable... The team behind this has real costs in terms of their time and the website servers hosting the site.

Overall this is why I love the nano community... they build the coolest stuff and its always done really really well so big props to Angus Russell and Matt Way for creating NanoMate...

Wow nano...never heard of it. But from the way you sounding looks like a promising project. Is there anydrop on it now? On their website, they only have an option to redeem nano wallet. No option for sign up

Nano is the rebrand of Raiblocks. A great project which would be close to perfect if the devs hadn't screwed up distribution by closing the faucet in 2017.

Ok thanks for the clarification

Nice blog

Nice Post!

I would love your feedback on my new post titled β€˜Bitcoin, John McAfee, The story of the Sultan and his Flying Horse and why we should pay attention to Warren Buffett’

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@shenobie/bitcoin-john-mcafee-the-story-of-the-sultan-and-his-flying-horse-and-why-we-should-pay-attention-to-warren-buffett

Cheers,

Criticizing McAfee and suggesting that we listen to Buffet? FFS..

For years it's been clear that Buffet has nothing valuable to contribute to any discussion on crypto.

Applying the, "lack of intrinsic value" argument to a currency is irrational. Since Warren Buffet continues to do so, what does that say? He doesn't understand the fundamentals of currency, or he's trying to fool people who don't understand the fundamentals of currency. In the first case it would be clear that he's not adequately qualified to comment on currencies. In the second case, it would be clear that his ethics and desire to appear rational are outweighed by his agenda against bitcoin. In either case, he's not worth paying attention to.

Hmmmm @michaelo,

Thank you for your feedback.

Interesting thoughts....

I would appreciate it if you could help me understand the following:

  1. How many 'years' has it been clear that Buffett has had nothing to contribute to crypto and if so why?
  2. Why is the lack intrinsic value argument to any currency irrational? Do currencies have intrinsic value and if so how is this demonstrated?
  3. Since Buffett has made $83Billion in the capital markets, how does he not understand the essential aspect of it- i.e. currency?

I stand by my criticisms of him.

Many thanks,
@shenobie

  1. Since his first comments on bitcoin, probably 2013, therefore 5 years.
  2. How much intrinsic value does a $100 bill have? Currencies aren't supposed to have intrinsic value, they only represent a unit of value. Buffet goes on about bitcoin having no intrinsic value. This is an irrational criticism.
  3. Read everything after, "He doesn't understand the fundamentals of currency,"

good post.i like nano.again share your post.
