Decentralized exchanges alone wont solve the problems currently faced by centralized exchanges. Instead the better way would be to make the use of decentralized tech to settle the orders thus ensuring tranparency, and using the centralized tech for maintaining Order book. It would make the exchanges fast and tranparent. Blockchain.io is one such exchange coming up with their ICO later this year. Should be worth watching. @moneyguruu
